Bacteria, archaea, and eukarya are the three big domains that we can separate living things into. Protists, fungi, plants, and animals are the kingdoms of eukarya.
That poor little virus gets left out because they not technically *alive* by our current definition of living things because they can’t reproduce on their own–they use other cells’ infrastructure to do it.
