A Beatrice the Biologist Children’s Book
Many thought that Amoeba Hugs and Other Nonsense was going to be a children’s book–a misunderstanding about my work that has been common. But my comics are not generally intended for tiny ones. I do comics about sex and penises and death. But hey, kids love that stuff too, right? (Right? I don’t actually know.)
But I decided to do an actual children’s book about cells. It’s small–just 6 inches squared–and goes over the basic types of cells in the human body: blood cells, muscle cells, immune cells, neurons, etc.
It is available on Amazon, but if you are in Canada, you can’t order it because amazon.ca is a poopface. You can order it directly from the Amazon publisher, CreateSpace, though.
Buy it! Do it for the children!
